Istanbul:A delegation led by Elchin Mammadov, First Deputy Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, took part in the International Justice Summit Istanbul 2026. This event was organized by the Ministry of Justice of Türkiye and held in Istanbul.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Azerbaijani delegation included Aynur Osmanova, Head of the Legal Support and Human Rights Issues Department, and Tugay Rahimli, Assistant Prosecutor General for Special Assignments.

The summit gathered justice ministers, prosecutors, judges, legal experts, and representatives from international organizations representing over 30 countries. The discussions at the summit focused on contemporary challenges facing justice systems, the enforcement of the rule of law, human rights protection, and the enhancement of international legal cooperation.

During panel discussions, participants shared insights on the implementation of international humanitarian law, strategies to combat cybercrime, the incorporation of artificial intelligence into legal frameworks, and the digital transformation of justice systems.
