The hague: An Azerbaijani delegation comprising members of the Milli Majlis, including Gaya Mammadov, Sevinj Fataliyeva, Azay Guliyev, and Tural Ganjaliyev, attended the 33rd Annual Session of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA) in The Hague, the Netherlands, from July 4 to 8. The delegation was also joined by Rovshan Sadigbayli, Azerbaijan's Permanent Representative to the OSCE, and Mammad Ahmadzada, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to the Netherlands.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the session, themed "International Law and Shared Principles: Foundations for Security and Co-operation in the OSCE Area," addressed regional and international security challenges and international cooperation amid changing geopolitical dynamics. Participants adopted final documents on the discussed issues.
The Azerbaijani delegation contributed to discussions on promoting peace and cooperation in Europe and beyond, sharing the country's approaches to upholding international law, developing transport corridors, strengthening energy security, advancing digital governance, and utilizing artificial intelligence. They also emphasized Azerbaijan's hosting of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
On the sidelines, a joint meeting of the delegations of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States was organized at the initiative of the Azerbaijani side. The Azerbaijani delegation also engaged in bilateral meetings with the leadership and several members of the Dutch Parliament.
