Dushanbe:Sahib Alakbarov, Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Economy, attended the 4th Ministerial Meeting on Industry of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Tajikistan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Alakbarov emphasized the importance Azerbaijan places on strengthening cooperation with the ECO and enhancing economic ties among its member states. He highlighted the significant potential for expanding economic cooperation within the organization.

During the meeting, Alakbarov outlined Azerbaijan's industrial and investment potential and discussed efforts to support business and entrepreneurial activities in the country. He also emphasized the development of competitive and export-oriented production, the role of industrial zones, and advancements in digitalization and human capital.

The meeting aimed to enhance regional cooperation in industry, investment, transport and logistics, and trade. A significant outcome of the gathering was the adoption of the Dushanbe Declaration, focusing on revitalizing regional industrial cooperation.
