Ashgabat:A presentation ceremony was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan for the Azerbaijani edition of the book 'The Neutrality of Turkmenistan - A Bright Way of Peace and Trust' by Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Gismat Gozalov, remarked that publishing the book in Azerbaijani is a significant step towards conveying the essence and international significance of Turkmenistan's policy of permanent neutrality to Azerbaijani readers.

Gismat Gozalov noted that Azerbaijan respects Turkmenistan's policy of permanent neutrality and supports its peace- and cooperation-oriented initiatives within the framework of the United Nations. He highlighted Azerbaijan's role as a co-sponsor of relevant UN resolutions from 1995 to 2026 and emphasized its participation in 2026 as a co-sponsor of the resolution titled 'The Role and Importance of a Policy of Neutrality in Maintaining and Strengthening International Peace, Security and Sustainable Development,' primarily proposed by Turkmenistan.
