Azerbaijani Embassy Highlights Culture and Tourism at Turkmenistan Diplomatic Exhibition

Ashgabat: The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan took part in an international exhibition dedicated to 'Diplomacy Day' at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event showcased various aspects of Azerbaijan's rich historical heritage and tourism potential.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the exhibition featured publications on Azerbaijan's culture, art, and tourism. Brochures promoting 'Made in Azerbaijan,' 'Travel to Azerbaijan,' and 'WUF13' were distributed, while a video promoting 'Azerbaijan.travel' was screened. Attendees learned about the upcoming World Urban Forum 13 (WUF13), set to take place in Baku from 17-22 May, as part of Azerbaijan's 'Year of Urban Planning and Architecture.' The forum will focus on sustainable urbanization and inclusive urban planning.

Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, along with state officials and diplomatic representatives, explored the Azerbaijan exhibit. The presentations generated significant interest among the guests. Additionally, Ambassador Gismat Gozalov provided interviews to Turkmen media during the exhibition.
