Ashgabat: The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan took part in an international exhibition celebrating 'Diplomacy Day' at the Institute of International Relations, part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The exhibition provided a platform for Azerbaijan to highlight its rich cultural and historical heritage.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Azerbaijani Embassy showcased publications that illustrated the nation's heritage, culture, art, and tourism potential. Brochures promoting 'Made in Azerbaijan,' 'Travel to Azerbaijan,' and the upcoming 'WUF13' were distributed to attendees. The embassy also screened a promotional video featuring 'Azerbaijan.travel.'
Participants at the event received detailed information about the WUF13 event, scheduled for 17-22 May in Baku. This event is part of Azerbaijan's 'Year of Urban Planning and Architecture' and will highlight topics such as sustainable urbanization, inclusive urban planning, and the country's role in the global urban agenda.
Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, along with state officials and representatives from the diplomatic corps, visited the Azerbaijani exhibition booth. The presentations on Azerbaijan attracted significant interest from guests attending the exhibition.
In addition, Ambassador Gismat Gozalov engaged with Turkmen media during the exhibition, providing further insights into Azerbaijan's contributions to the event.
