Azerbaijan Elected Vice-Chair of UNESCO Committee Bureau

Paris: Azerbaijan has been elected as the Vice-Chair of the Bureau for the Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions during the committee's 19th session at UNESCO Headquarters. This session, which took place from February 17 to 20, saw participation from Azerbaijan's Permanent Delegation to UNESCO.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the elections for the Bureau's 20th session were held on the final day of the meeting, February 20. Azerbaijan was unanimously chosen for the Vice-Chair position, highlighting its role and contributions in promoting cultural diversity on an international scale.
