Azerbaijani FM Clarifies No Territorial Claims in Constitution

BAKU — In a joint press conference with Serbia's Foreign Minister Marko Djuric, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov reiterated that the Azerbaijani Constitution harbors no territorial claims against any neighboring states, including Armenia, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister Bayramov highlighted that any comparisons between the constitutions of Armenia and Azerbaijan were unnecessary and unhelpful in the context of peace negotiations. He stressed that Armenia must abandon any territorial claims as a prerequisite for further discussions and signing a potential peace treaty. This clarification comes amid ongoing efforts to foster a stable and peaceful environment in the region.
