Tashkent: Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov reached out to Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov on March 5, expressing concern over recent drone attacks targeting the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. These attacks have reportedly originated from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister Bayramov shared in-depth information regarding the drone assaults, highlighting that these actions not only violate international law but also contribute to escalating tensions within the region. Bayramov stressed the importance of Azerbaijan receiving clear explanations from Iran and urged for immediate measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
