Nakhchivan: "The two Iranian drone strikes this morning in Nakhchivan are completely unacceptable," stated British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld in a post on the X platform, APA reports. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the drone attacks originated from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran and targeted the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. One of the drones hit the terminal building of Nakhchivan Airport, resulting in damage, while another landed near a school building in Shakarabad village. The incident led to injuries for four individuals, escalating tensions in the area.

Ambassador Auld emphasized the UK's stance, firmly condemning any actions that threaten Azerbaijan's security. "We stand in solidarity with Azerbaijan and those affected at this difficult moment.
