Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, expressed a desire for the Russia-Ukraine war to conclude as he discussed the country's potential policy directions at a press conference reviewing the year's outcomes.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Bayramov stated that Azerbaijan's future policy would be shaped by the developments following the war in Ukraine. He highlighted several factors that would influence this decision, including the conditions under which the conflict ends and the potential easing of tensions between Russia and Ukraine, as well as between Russia and the West.

The minister outlined the uncertainties surrounding Ukraine's security guarantees and the international community's plans for the reconstruction of Ukraine. Bayramov emphasized that these elements would be crucial in determining Azerbaijan's subsequent approach, acknowledging the current difficulty in making assumptions about future policies.
