Baku: Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov announced that the government has commenced necessary work for the preparation of the Second State Program on the Great Return. This announcement was made during a special meeting at the Cabinet of Ministers, which was dedicated to President Ilham Aliyev’s recent visit to Washington. The Prime Minister highlighted that a key focus of the current state policy under President Aliyev’s leadership is the restoration and reconstruction of territories liberated from occupation.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Prime Minister Asadov emphasized that significant progress has been achieved through the First State Program on the Great Return. He noted that extensive restoration and reconstruction efforts are underway in the liberated areas, with modern infrastructure being developed and conditions being established for sustainable settlement and economic reintegration. Prime Minister Asadov commended President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for their direct involvement in the meticulous reconstruction efforts over the years.
The Prime Minister also mentioned that visiting heads of state and government have expressed admiration for the extensive work undertaken by President Aliyev in the liberated territories. The initiation of preparations for the Second State Program on the Great Return signifies the Azerbaijani government’s ongoing commitment to rebuilding and revitalizing these areas.
