Baku: About 1,000 Azerbaijani citizens are seeking evacuation from several Middle Eastern countries, as announced by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. This announcement was made during a joint press conference with Mihai Pop?oi, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister Bayramov disclosed that Azerbaijani embassies and consulates have received nearly 1,000 appeals for evacuation. These requests have come from Azerbaijani citizens residing in five key countries in the region: the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
The Azerbaijani government is actively working on plans to facilitate the evacuation of its citizens from these countries, given the ongoing developments in the Middle East. The Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of Azerbaijani nationals during these challenging times.
