Istanbul: A well-known Azerbaijani journalist residing in Trkiye, Mayis Alizade, has passed away, as confirmed by his son, Toghrul Alizade. The journalist succumbed to a heart attack earlier this morning.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Toghrul Alizade announced that his father would be laid to rest tomorrow at the Yeni Ayazaga Cemetery in Istanbul. Mayis Alizade had collaborated with multiple media outlets across Trkiye and Azerbaijan, including APA.
