Khiva: Azerbaijani media representatives recently visited the Presidential School and the Mamun Khorezm Academy in Khiva as part of their trip to Uzbekistan. The visit provided an opportunity for the journalists to learn about the educational systems and innovative teaching methods employed at these institutions, as reported by APA’s correspondent dispatched to Khiva.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the journalists received comprehensive information about the Presidential School’s initiatives for gifted children, including its educational programs and the conditions created for student development. Established in 2019, the Presidential School aims to identify and nurture the scientific, technological, and creative potential of gifted students across Uzbekistan.

During their tour, the Azerbaijani journalists explored various facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, and training centers focused on robotics and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). They also reviewed student projects, gaining insight into the practical applications of the educational programs.

The media delegation also visited the Mamun Khorezm Academy, a prominent scientific research institution. The academy’s leadership briefed the journalists on its educational programs, research activities, and student development opportunities. The visit highlighted ongoing projects in the field of education and scientific research.

This visit is part of the ‘Roadmap for the Development of Cooperation in the Field of Media between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.’ Its purpose is to enhance educational exchange between the two countries and showcase Uzbekistan’s modern education model and research institutions to the Azerbaijani public.
