Baku: Azerbaijani journalists participating in a press tour have visited the Kabar news agency to gain insights into its operations as part of their activities in Kyrgyzstan. Following a visit to Ala-Archa Nature Park, representatives from leading Azerbaijani media outlets were welcomed at Kabar, where they learned about the agency's history, development, and editorial processes.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the journalists received a comprehensive briefing on Kabar's main areas of work and its modern information presentation formats. Kabar is known for its timely coverage of significant national events across various fields, publishing news in multiple languages, including Kyrgyz, Russian, English, Turkish, Chinese, and Arabic.
The Azerbaijani guests experienced traditional hospitality and were treated to local sweets. Following their visit to Kabar, they proceeded to KTRK, Kyrgyzstan's major public broadcaster, which features diverse channels covering news, sports, education, and entertainment.
The visit concluded with a concert showcasing renowned Kyrgyz performers. This initiative, organized by Askat Alagozov, Press Secretary to the Kyrgyz President, was on behalf of President Sadyr Japarov. It aims to enhance Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani collaboration in the information and humanitarian sectors.
