Tashkent: Azerbaijani judoka Ahmad Yusifov achieved a remarkable feat winning a gold medal at the OTP Group Tashkent Grand Slam 2026 tournament in Uzbekistan. Prevailing over his teammate Balabay Aghayev in the final, Ahmad Yusifov earned the top podium spot in the men's 60kg weight division.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the tournament will run until March 1.
