PARIS — Azerbaijani judokas Ilham Zakiyev and Dursadaf Karimova were both defeated in their respective quarterfinal matches at the Paralympic Games Paris 2024, moving them into the repechage rounds.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Zakiyev, competing in the J1 category, faced off against French judoka Jason Grandry and was unable to secure a victory, leading to his participation in the repechage rounds.
