Al-fujairah: Azerbaijani karate fighter Khadija Gasimova excelled at the "Karate1 Youth League" international tournament held in Al-Fujairah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), winning the gold medal. She secured the medal in the female's 52kg weight division.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Gasimova stepped onto the top of the podium in the U14 age category.
