Baku: Azerbaijani-language general education schools in Georgia are set to receive a significant educational boost as Azerbaijan's Ministry of Science and Education has dispatched textbooks for the 2026-2027 academic year. A total of 22,050 copies of 18 different textbooks have been handed over to Georgia's Ministry of Education, Science and Youth.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the materials include 'Azerbaijani Language' and 'Literature' textbooks for grades I through XI. The handover ceremony was attended by representatives from Azerbaijan's Ministry of Science and Education and Georgia's Ministry of Education, Science and Youth. Fuad Chiragov, the education adviser at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia, was also present at the event.
The textbooks are expected to be distributed to Azerbaijani-language schools before the new academic year begins, ensuring that students have access to the necessary educational resources.
