Geneva: The Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, conducted a series of bilateral meetings with emergency officials from various countries during the 58th session of the Executive Council of the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO).

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meetings included discussions with Nazim Farouk Abdulhamid Mohammed Abdulkarim, Director General of the Civil Protection Authority of Egypt; Rajabali Rahmonali, Chairman of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense of Tajikistan; Hamed Othman Aldeha, Director General of the Civil Defense Department of Qatar; and Vadim Sinyavski, Minister of Emergency Situations of Belarus.

The focus of these discussions was a broad exchange of views on issues of mutual interest, demonstrating the collaborative efforts in enhancing civil defense and emergency management strategies among the participating nations.
