Baku: Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, conveyed his condolences to the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Colonel General Hasanov expressed his sorrow in a condolence letter, stating his deep sadness over the deaths of a group of servicemen from the Pakistan Armed Forces. The servicemen were victims of a terrorist attack in the Orakzai district of the remote Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, which borders Afghanistan. Colonel General Hasanov prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased and extended his condolences to their families, hoping for eternal peace for those who lost their lives.
