Moscow: The Moscow Folklore Center recently hosted an Azerbaijani music night that showcased a selection of musical compositions performed by an ensemble of talented musicians. The event featured vocalists Ayna Karimova and Ramila Rustamova, pianist Nigar Karimova, tar player Emin Namazov, percussionist Hezi Ismayilov, clarinetist Artyom Polyuga, and flutist Ivetta Nganyele.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the concert program included chamber performances of works by renowned Azerbaijani composers such as Uzeyir Hajibeyli, Arif Melikov, Emin Sabitoglu, Azer Dadashov, and Tofiq Guliyev. The event highlighted the rich musical heritage of Azerbaijan through these compositions.
The audience experienced a night of chamber music classics that included Nazim Aliverdibeyov's 'Elegy' for piano and clarinet, as well as works for piano and flute by Fikret Amirov. These performances captivated the attendees and underscored the depth and diversity of Azerbaijani music.
