Baku: The price of Azerbaijan's Azeri Light crude oil has experienced a decline of nearly $3 in the latest trading session on global markets. The current price stands at $79.09 per barrel, reflecting a decrease of $2.98, or 3.6%, from the previous price of $82.07 per barrel.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this shift in oil prices comes as Azerbaijan's 2026 state budget is planned with an average oil price of $65 per barrel for Azeri Light crude. The recent price drop may have implications for the country's oil revenue forecasts and budgetary planning.
