Azerbaijani Oil Prices Witness Notable Decrease This Week.


Baku: This week has seen a decrease in oil prices, Trend reports. The average price of Azeri Light crude oil on a CIF basis produced at Azerbaijan’s Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field decreased by $2.27 (2.99 percent) compared to last week and amounted to $73.4 per barrel. The maximum price during the period reached $74.8 per barrel, while the minimum price was $71.87 per barrel.

According to Trend News Agency, the Azeri Light crude oil price averaged $72.16 per barrel FOB at the Turkish port of Ceyhan this week, which is $2.02 (2.72 percent) less than last week. The highest price was $73.66 per barrel, and the lowest was $70.55 per barrel.

The URALS crude oil price decreased by $2.3 (3.68 percent) from last week to $60.31 per barrel. The top price for URALS reached $61.55 per barrel, and the lowest price reached $58.84 per barrel.

The benchmark Dated Brent crude oil average price decreased by $2.02 (2.7 percent) to $72.86 per barrel. The peak price for Dated Brent reached $74.17 per barrel, and the minimum was $
71.4 per barrel.
