The Internal Regulations of the Milli Majlis dictate that the parliament is on vacation from January 1 to 15 each year, during which members are considered to be on vacation.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the spring session of the Milli Majlis is slated to begin on February 1 and will continue through May 31. This session marks a critical period for the parliament as it resumes its legislative duties following the recess.
