Baku:The Azerbaijani parliament is poised to approve a revised agreement concerning the Absheron offshore block, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the draft law titled "On the Adoption and Approval of the Amended and Restated Agreement on the Exploration, Development and Production Sharing of the Absheron Offshore Block in the Azerbaijani Sector of the Caspian Sea" was presented for discussion. This agreement involves the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan, TotalEnergies EP Absheron B.V., SOCAR Absheron, and ADNOC International ProjectCo 1RSC Limited.

The draft law was submitted during a session of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations, with the aim of securing authorization for its implementation.
