Baku: Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova met with a delegation led by Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of the People's Republic of China, Ying Yong, during his visit to Azerbaijan. The Milli Majlis Department for Press and Public Relations informed APA about the meeting.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Speaker Gafarova expressed confidence that the visit would enhance the development of friendly and strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and China, as well as strengthen ties between the prosecution authorities of the two countries.

Chief Prosecutor Ying Yong, expressing gratitude for the meeting, noted that he had prior discussions with Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, and conveyed greetings to Speaker Gafarova on Zhao Leji's behalf.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest. During their visit to the administrative building of the Milli Majlis, the Chinese delegation visited the parliament's plenary session hall to familiarize themselves with the working conditions provided there.
