Baku: The Milli Majlis is set to deliberate on a production sharing agreement concerning the Guba-Caspian area. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the draft law, titled 'On the adoption and approval of, and permission for the implementation of, the Agreement between the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Gran Tierra Energy (Azerbaijan) GmbH and SOCAR Guba-Caspian LLC,' is slated for discussion.

The agreement focuses on the exploration, development, and production sharing in certain parts of the Guba, Gusar, Shabran, Siyazan, and Khizi districts. This proposal has been added to the agenda for the upcoming meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on International and Interparliamentary Relations, scheduled for September 14.
