Baku: Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with the First Vice President of Costa Rica, Francisco Gamboa Soto, during his visit to Azerbaijan. The meeting took place on March 11, in the context of the 13th Global Baku Forum.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, PM Ali Asadov emphasized the significance of Francisco Gamboa's participation in the forum. The event is viewed as a crucial platform for fostering dialogue, enhancing mutual trust, and expanding cooperation amidst rising global tensions and intricate geopolitical developments.
The talks between the Azerbaijani and Costa Rican officials also explored the potential for deepening relations between the two countries. They discussed collaboration prospects in various sectors, including economic development, investment, green energy initiatives, and humanitarian efforts.
The meeting was further attended by Rebeca Grynspan, the Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), highlighting the broader international interest in the discussions.
