Baku: Azerbaijani pomegranate juice has made its way into the Caribbean market with its recent entry into the Dominican Republic, supported by Azexport, a platform operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC). The locally produced juice, exported by Hub Trade, is available in 200 ml and 1,000 ml packaging and was shipped from Poti Port, Georgia, after receiving customs clearance and a Free Sale Certificate.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Ayxan Gadashov, Head of Azexport, described the Caribbean as a new but promising market for Azerbaijani products. He emphasized that the export of pomegranate juice to this region reflects the growing global competitiveness of Azerbaijani brands. Gadashov further noted that the use of supply routes through Poti Port allows Azerbaijan to diversify its non-oil export markets. This venture into distant and complex destinations also demonstrates compliance with international quality standards.

Azexport plays a crucial role in supporting local producers by aiding their access to international markets and offering comprehensive assistance without charging registration or sales commission fees. The portal remains committed to promoting Azerbaijani products in both traditional and emerging markets.
