Zangilan: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that there is no need for Armenia to be protected from Azerbaijan, as the nation has accomplished its objectives. During a meeting with residents in the city of Zangilan, he emphasized that Azerbaijan had no intention of destroying Armenia or stripping it of its independence.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev addressed the presence of European observers at the Azerbaijan-Armenia border, suggesting their presence is unnecessary. He remarked that if Azerbaijan had any hostile intentions, the observers would quickly abandon their posts. Aliyev reaffirmed that Azerbaijan has fulfilled its aims, implying that the perceived threat to Armenia is unfounded.
