During a press statement in Baku with President of the European Council Antonio Costa, Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan has been living in peace for only seven months since gaining independence in 1991, yet he remains confident that this peace will persist.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev announced that Azerbaijan has started supplying important oil products to Armenia. He emphasized that this development reflects a strong political will and signifies a mutual intention to establish healthy relations and remain committed to peace. The President underscored that the primary focus of their current agenda is the discussion of security issues in the region, demonstrating a commitment to fostering stability and cooperation.
