Baku: The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, on the occasion of Egypt’s national holiday, Revolution Day.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter from President Aliyev expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes on behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan to President El-Sisi and the entire Egyptian nation. The letter highlighted the dynamic development of relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt, noting the significance of high-level reciprocal visits and regular contacts in enriching cooperation between the two countries.

President Aliyev emphasized the substantial potential for deepening relations across various fields and expressed confidence in continuing joint efforts to leverage these opportunities. He underscored the importance of expanding traditional friendly relations and fruitful cooperation for the prosperity of both nations.

In his letter, President Aliyev wished President El-Sisi robust health, happiness, and success, as well as everlasting peace and prosperity to the people of Egypt on this important occasion.
