BAKU: President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has reached out to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán with a message of congratulations in recognition of Hungary’s national holiday. The correspondence highlights the growing diplomatic ties between the two nations.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, President Aliyev’s letter expressed satisfaction with the current state of Azerbaijan-Hungary relations, noting that they are grounded in mutual trust and continue to develop in new areas. Aliyev emphasized the significance of expanding interstate relations, particularly through deepening the strategic partnership between the two countries.

President Aliyev’s message also underscored the importance of high-level mutual understanding and active political dialogue, which have provided a favorable environment for enhancing bilateral relations. He expressed confidence in ongoing efforts to strengthen the friendship and strategic partnership, both on a bilateral basis and through multilateral frameworks like the Or
ganization of Turkic States.
