Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Ghana John Dramani Mahama on the occasion of Ghana's national holiday, Independence Day.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his congratulations on behalf of himself and the citizens of Azerbaijan. The letter conveyed his best wishes to President Mahama and the people of Ghana. Aliyev emphasized the importance of fostering relations between Azerbaijan and Ghana and expressed optimism about the continued development and expansion of cooperation between the two nations.

President Aliyev concluded his message by wishing President Mahama success and the people of Ghana enduring peace and prosperity.
