BAKU — President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has sent a congratulatory letter to Maia Sandu, President of Moldova, on the occasion of Moldova’s Independence Day, celebrating the enduring friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev’s letter expressed heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President Sandu and the Moldovan people, underscoring the strong bilateral relations founded on mutual respect and beneficial cooperation. He noted the current level of interaction between Azerbaijan and Moldova as positive, with solid foundations supporting a wide range of cooperative efforts that benefit both countries.
President Aliyev also highlighted the potential for further development and expansion of these relations, aiming to enrich and enhance the traditional bonds of friendship and partnership through bilateral and multilateral engagements. He concluded his message with personal wishes for President Sandu’s health and success, and for the prosperity of the people of Moldova.
