Davos: 'Baku and Azerbaijan have become very attractive for foreigners. Because today investors are looking for places where they can feel themselves comfortable and where they feel themselves safe,' said President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev as he responded to questions from business representatives from various countries during an event titled 'Azerbaijan Executive Breakfast,' held as part of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the role of multiculturalism and diversity in fostering this appeal. He noted that the positive spirit of interaction, coexistence, and mutual respect among various ethnicities and representatives of traditional religions contribute to creating an environment that attracts people to invest, purchase homes, and spend time in Azerbaijan. Aliyev highlighted that the safety and comfort offered by the country make it an attractive destination for investors and tourists alike.
The Azerbaijani President pointed out that the opportunity for investment in real estate is particularly appealing. He remarked that investing during construction offers the potential to sell properties at a significantly higher value once completed. This economic opportunity, coupled with the cultural richness and scenic beauty of Azerbaijan, makes it an attractive option for foreign nationals seeking both leisure and investment prospects.
