Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has extended his congratulations to the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nata€š¬¦¡a Pirc Musar, in celebration of Slovenia’s Statehood Day.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev conveyed his best wishes through a letter, expressing his own and the Azerbaijani people’s congratulations to the Slovenian leader and her citizens on their national holiday. He emphasized the importance of the relationship between Azerbaijan and Slovenia, expressing optimism for continued development in bilateral and multilateral relations based on the mutual interests of their peoples.

In his message, President Aliyev also wished President Pirc Musar good health and happiness, and expressed hopes for lasting peace and prosperity for the people of Slovenia.
