Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Romania’s President Nicu?or Dan on the occasion of Romania’s national holiday, APA reports. The letter expressed Aliyev’s sincere congratulations on behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan to President Dan and the Romanian people.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the importance Azerbaijan places on its friendship and cooperation with Romania. The letter highlighted the expanding bilateral cooperation between the two countries, which is built on strong traditions and a solid foundation. It mentioned the joint activities in various fields such as trade, economic, energy, cultural, and humanitarian sectors, including a specific focus on green energy. Aliyev expressed confidence in the continued growth of the friendly relations and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Romania, both bilaterally and multilaterally, for the benefit of their peoples.
In his message, President Aliyev also extended his best wishes for the prosperity and well-being of the Romanian people on this festive occasion.
