Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order concerning the conscription of Azerbaijani citizens for active fixed-term military service. This service is set to occur from April 1 to April 30, 2026. The order also includes provisions for the discharge of servicemen currently on fixed-term active duty into the reserve.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decree outlines the process for integrating citizens into the military and preparing those currently serving for transition to reserve status. This move is part of the country's regular military conscription cycle.
