Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has affirmed that his nation will never forget the atrocities committed against its people, even as peace talks with Armenia progress. During a meeting with participants of international conferences in Baku, Aliyev expressed confidence in the ongoing peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, stating it would be enduring and aligned with the Azerbaijani state's position.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the importance of remembering past sufferings, specifically mentioning the victims of Khojaly, destroyed mosques, and desecrated cultural sites. He maintained that this collective memory would serve as a safeguard against future deceptions and prevent any harmful plans against Azerbaijan from succeeding.
