Azerbaijani Prime Minister and Slovak President Discuss Strategic Partnership

Baku: Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, met with President of the Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini on July 15. During their meeting, PM Ali Asadov highlighted that President Peter Pellegrini's official visit to Azerbaijan, as well as the discussions held in Shusha between the two nations' leaders, will significantly boost the development of the Azerbaijan-Slovakia strategic partnership.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Prime Minister underscored the importance of Slovak companies' involvement in the restoration and reconstruction projects in Azerbaijan's liberated territories, mentioning specifically the construction of Bash Garvand village in the Aghdam district. PM Asadov expressed appreciation for Slovakia's initiative to build a secondary school in the village as a gift to Azerbaijan, acknowledging this contribution.

Both parties praised the ongoing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Slovakia across various domains such as political, trade, economic, investment, energy, transport, and humanitarian sectors. The meeting also focused on exploring opportunities to further enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest and the implementation of new joint projects.
