SSPF Chief Reveals Monthly Social Payments of AZN 900 Million to 2.2 Million Citizens

Baku: Around 2.2 million citizens receive social payments every month, amounting to approximately AZN 900 million, Chairman of the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) Zeka Mirzayev said in an interview with APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Mirzayev noted that 74% of the amount is allocated to labor pensions, while the remainder is paid as social benefits and targeted state social assistance. He emphasized that targeted state social assistance is provided to low-income families under the state social support program.

Mirzayev further elaborated that AZN 465 million has been allocated for targeted state social assistance in 2026, with about AZN 35 million to be distributed monthly. 'We provide targeted state social assistance to 76,000 families, covering more than 350,000 family members,' he said.
