Baku:The annual inflation rate in Azerbaijan was 5.7% during the first eight months of 2026, as stated by Prime Minister Ali Asadov during discussions at the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Prime Minister Asadov highlighted that, based on forecasts from international organizations concerning food and commodity prices, along with the stability of the manat exchange rate and the balance of the foreign currency market, the average annual inflation is expected to decrease to 5.3% next year and stay within the target range.
