Baku: Azerbaijani rower Bogdan Kurudz won a gold medal in the 2026 Paddle Europe Sprint, Paracanoe and Masters European Championships held in Montemor-o-Velho, Portugal. He claimed the top spot on the podium in the master's category.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, competing in the men's C1 500m event, Kurudz outpaced all of his rivals to secure the title of European champion.
