Gabala: Another Azerbaijani shooter won a silver medal, APA’s Shirvan bureau reports. Shooting competitions held at the Gabala Shooting Center within the framework of the III CIS Games continue to showcase impressive performances by Azerbaijani athletes.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Azerbaijani athlete Murtaza Novruzlu secured the silver medal in the trap shooting event. His performance was commendable as he finished second behind Azamat Kayumov from Uzbekistan, who claimed the gold medal, while Russian shooter Kirill Bagrov took the third spot on the podium.

It is noteworthy that Azerbaijani shooter Narmin Jafarova had also previously claimed a silver medal at the III CIS Games. She displayed her skills in the trap shooting competition, finishing just behind Russian shooter Alin Akhatova, who won the gold, and ahead of Kazakh shooter Nargiza Sarmanova, who took the bronze medal.

These achievements highlight the growing prowess of Azerbaijani shooters on the international stage as the competitions at the Gabala Shooting Center continue to unfold.
