Baku: Azerbaijani, Turkish, and Uzbek military forces are preparing to engage in a joint exercise named 'Power of Unity - 2026' in Azerbaijan. This exercise will take place at the Gizilgaya training center in the Garabagh economic region, the Garabaghlar training center in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and the Boyuk Zira training area in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the exercise will be conducted in three stages with a focus on enhancing readiness for joint operations, improving troop coordination, standardizing training procedures, and developing combat capabilities. The operation will involve personnel, combat equipment, navy and aviation assets, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Military personnel and aviation assets from the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey have already arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in the exercise. Necessary measures have been taken to accommodate the personnel and address other organizational aspects in accordance with the relevant plan.
