Ankara: The visit of Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, along with senior Ministry leadership, to Turkey is ongoing, as reported by the Ministry of Defense to APA. The visit emphasizes the growing military collaboration between the two nations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, a significant meeting took place with Mr. Haluk G¶rgn, President of the Secretariat of Defense Industries under the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey. This meeting was part of the 17th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF 2025).

The discussions focused on the further expansion of Azerbaijani-Turkish military cooperation, which is deeply rooted in friendship, brotherhood, and a strategic alliance as prioritized by the heads of state. Additionally, the meeting addressed the prospects for developing military cooperation between the two countries, alongside other issues of common interest.
