Kyiv:Kurdamir The body of Abbas Abbasov, an Azerbaijani citizen who died in a drone attack on Kyiv on September 27, has been returned to Azerbaijan and interred in the Kurdamir district. According to Azeri-Press news agency, Abbasov's burial took place in the cemetery of Pirakochali village. Abbasov was born in 1978. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had previously stated that an Azerbaijani citizen was among the casualties of what he referred to as Russian attacks on Kyiv. However, it is unclear which specific drone or strike resulted in Abbasov's death.
